FAQs

🔴 Quick Release Mount – Design Update

A video showed a failure in the Quick Release mount. Has the design been updated?

Yes. The design has been updated.

The load-bearing interface component in the Quick Release mount has been redesigned and is now machined from solid PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone).

This change significantly improves mechanical strength, wear resistance, and long-term durability under repeated mounting cycles and recoil exposure.

This update reflects AVCI’s continuous design refinement process driven by real-world use and feedback.

What validation and testing does AVCI undergo?

AVCI optics are subjected to recoil endurance, environmental exposure, and functional reliability testing to ensure consistent performance in demanding use conditions.

What warranty and support are provided with AVCI optics?

AVCI optics are backed by Peace of Mind Warranty, providing professional support and long-term service to ensure operational confidence.

What is the operational difference between AVCI 1x–4x GI+ and AVCI 1.5x–6x GI+?

AVCI 1x–4x GI+ is optimized for rapid engagements from close quarters to intermediate distances, prioritizing speed, situational awareness, and fast transitions.

AVCI 1.5x–6x GI+ extends effective engagement range by providing higher magnification for target identification and precision at distance, while maintaining versatility for dynamic use.

Does AVCI 1x–4x GI+ provide true 1x performance?

Yes. AVCI 1x–4x GI+ offers true 1x magnification, enabling both-eyes-open shooting with a natural field of view and minimal visual distortion, supporting fast target acquisition in close-range scenarios.

Is the reticle FFP or SFP?

AVCI sights use a Second Focal Plane (SFP) reticle.

This keeps the reticle size consistent across both magnification levels, making it easy to use and visually familiar for most shooters. Reticle subtensions are accurate at the highest magnification.

What type of rifle setups is AVCI intended for?

AVCI is designed as a versatile optic platform suitable for:

  • Duty and patrol rifles
  • Tactical and defensive rifle configurations
  • Competition and advanced civilian rifle setups
Does AVCI have adjustable parallax?

No. AVCI uses a fixed parallax system.
This approach enhances robustness and reduces complexity for reliable field use.

Does the optic affect rifle balance?

AVCI optics are engineered with a compact housing and balanced mass distribution to preserve rifle handling characteristics and avoid excessive front-end weight.

Can AVCI be used with red dots?

Yes. AVCI optics are designed to be used with red dot sights.

AVCI scopes are supplied as standard with the M1x Reflex Sight, which features a Docter footprint.

If required, an RMR-interface mount can be purchased separately, allowing the use of reflex sights with an RMR footprint. Click here to purchase now.

When sourced from us, V1x, VW1x, and R1x red dot models are fully compatible.
